Story

This is an image of me 3.5 years ago, I had a 35mm carcinoma  in my left breast and grade 3 cancer. After several surgeries, reconstructions, chemotherapy, Herceptin and other ongoing treatments, I won the battle against cancer. But the reality is that without the equipment that took this image, I probably wouldn't be here today.

80% of the fundraising from this event goes towards ground breaking research, new equipment and services that help those with cancer.

I am learning about nutrition and preventative medicine, so I can support/advice my girls as they grow up, but unfortunately this is a disease that can surprise anyone and a cure (or definitive reason for cause) is still needed.

Myself and 7 close friends are walking 26.2 miles through out the night, starting at midnight (in bright pink bras and tutus), to raise money for breast cancer causes and in memory of those not so fortunate as myself.
