On Sunday 11th September I will run my first ever half marathon - in fact, my first ever running event full stop! This will be a huge challenge for me and I am seeking sponsorship, to both keep me motivated to cross the finish line, whilst supporting a fantastic charity.

I have decided to raise money for Leeds Refugee Forum as I know from my work in the sector that the small staff team work tirelessly with the little resource that they have, to support people when they are most in need. From advocating for refugee communities in Leeds, to running wellbeing programmes and managing a Hardship Fund for people seeking asylum who have no income, their work is vital.
