Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am attempting the Serpentine One Mile Swim challenge later this month to raise money for Horatio's Garden - a national charity that designs beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres throughout the UK to support everyone affected by spinal injury

The charity is named after Horatio Chapple, a 17 year old killed by a Polar Bear while on expedition to Svalbard. He wanted to become a doctor and while volunteering at Salisbury spinal centre, he realised that an outdoor space would really improve the recovery of patients and be a wonderful sanctuary for friends and family whilst visiting...so as a tribute to him , his mother set up Horatio's Garden.

So I will attempt to swim around the perimeter of the Serpentine in a couple of weeks time .I love the idea of this charity , have been training all summer , so if you feel you would like to  donate it would be really appreciated!!
