This is year 3 of the Rambling ROSY around Oxford walk, a 33 mile walk along footpaths in the countryside around Oxford in aid of ROSY, Respite Nursing for Oxfordshire's Sick Youngsters.

ROSY is a chartiy dear to my heart and one that I am very involved with. We currently fund 10 respite nurses to hep those families in Oxfordshire with extremely ill children with complex nursing needs in the home. In addition we hold regular meetings for the families and provide as much emotional support as we can. To date, this has radically improved the lives of all concerned but we still have a long way to go.

The cost of a full time nurse, incuding charges, is £37,000 per annum and our hope is to be able to fund one nurse per year through this walk so please, please give generously.
