Hello friends. We are raising money for the amazing NSPCC and here's why... My daughter Tanwen, age 2 asked what was wrong this morning at breakfast as I had a little cry listening to the news about the increase in child&domestic abuse since lockdown. I explained to her that some children are not having a very nice time at the moment and that I was sad because of that, but also I was happy because money is being raised so that people can help these people. After a while she said "we can raise money for the people". I said yes, of course and asked how could we do that? To which she replied "We can throw oranges."So here we are, throwing oranges into a bowl and a basket, to raise money.
We have set ourselves a £100 target. If you can, please donate. 'Chipping' the toy parrot has kicked things off with 20p
And you could join the challenge and throw an orange or fruit of your choice. It's something to do! (but remember to eat them after! no wasting!)
Lots of love and Thanks,
Bethan on behalf of Tanwen xx
