I have taken the plunge into running my first ever Half Marathon this year, it is something that I have been wanting to do for a while and this year, I finally mustered up the courage to get out there and do it.

By no means has it an easy feet so far and getting into my training has proved that. However, I am determined and have set myself goals of completing this half marathon but not just for myself but for a worthy cause that deserves some reginition for the amazing work that they do for Children with Life Limited illnesses and this charity is Jessie May.

Anyone that knows me well enough will know that running for such a cause is something that means a great deal to me and my family, as I have a Cousin who is also my Goddaughter that suffers from life limited illness. Tilly-May is a beautiful little girl who with just one smile can light up a room. She cannot speak nor does she have the power of sight, however this does not stop her being one of the most affectionate little girls I have ever met with just one smile or a little giggle you know she knows how much she is loved even though she cannot say it. Both Tilly-May and her family receive such great support from Jessie May, and I am greatful for all of the support they have provided our family, which is why I will proudly be donning a Jessie May vest and slipping into my trainers on the 27th April in Plymouth to raise money and awareness for this great cause, so please if you could make a donation no matter how big or small, please could you make a contribution to my page and help me in my fundraising for this worthy cause that will in turn help children with life limited illnesses and their familes.
