Story
I work for Sue Ryder at St John’s Hospice and have teamed up with my colleague and friend to walk the Iceland Winter Trek in March 2023. Over the years several family friends have received support from the Hospice for palliative and end of life care. I have therefore taken on this challenge to raise vital funds for this wonderful charity and support the amazing work they do.
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
Every donation is extremely appreciated and matters. £145 could pay for a hospice nurse for a day, £60 could pay for an advice session for families, £21 could pay for one hour of expert care.
