Wheels for Wellbeing encourages and supports disabled people to cycle. We run regular cycle sessions using a wide range of 2,3 and 4 wheeled cycles and provide 1-1 lessons for people who want to learn to ride a bicycle or improve their skills so they can ride on the road with confidence.

Story

As many of you will know I have managed to secure a place at the 2016 London Marathon. As the training reaches the tapering stage it is now time to work on the fundraising. I would like to help raise money for two inclusive cycling organisations: Pedal Power and Wheels for Wellbeing.

Pedal Power is a cycling club for teenagers and adults with learning disabilities based in Finsbury Park and run by the amazing Jo Roach. I met Jo through a mutual friend - she is a top lady with an amazing sense of humour. Pedal Power would like to purchase a handbike for their fleet.

My best friend of 40+ years, Abigail Tripp, works for Wheels for Wellbeing, a cycling charity in South London, helping people to enjoy the benefits of cycling, regardless of disability, age, or health condition.
Two fantastic charities that really deserve your support.
My plan is to add an extra £5 for every photo taken of me in action on the day.
Thank you! Tanya
