Hello, Bonjour and Namaste, 

My name is Tanya Mélisande Tanushri Beck, I am half French, half Indian. The picture of me was taken the last time I was at the Eiffel tower 3 years ago. Hopefully, with YOUR help, the next time will be this summer on the 9th of July.
I want to participate in this ride not only because it seems like a once in a lifetime challenge, but also because it means a lot to me. 
Both my grandmothers, French and Indian, had cancer. While my French grandmother beat her Breast Cancer (though she recently passed away), my Indian grandmother passed away before I got the chance to know her. What I do know is: they were both truly great women. And I am honoured to have a chance to dedicate such an achievement in MY life to THEIR memory. I feel that they would have been proud of me. 

I will also be biking for all the truly great women out there who are suffering from this disease.
