In the face of adversity I find myself travelling to the unknown--TRANSYLVANIA

What I do know is it will be a huge mountain to climb aswell as a massive achievement.

I am overwhelmed by the support of my family and friends and the amount of money together we have raised.

Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances and Mother Nature it is now unsafe for us to Trek across Iceland, Aims2Cure has moved us to The Transylvanian Alps in Romania ! 

I am upset as Iceland held particular challenges that I was gearing up to. However it is much more important to be safe, and Transylvania holds different but equally as challenging conditions.  We are able to attempt this Trek on exactly the same dates and the passion is still on !

I am humbled by everyones extreme generosity and wishes for me on this amazing adventure!

Im over whelmed by the amazing amount I have been able to raise for this worthy cause and have decided due to the fact we now all have to become volcanic ash and lava experts to raise the target to £ 6, 000!

Together Im sure we can achieve this and I am grateful for any support how ever small as

Thank you for visiting me here on my Just Giving page,

In June, I am undertaking a trek across for 5 days to raise much needed money for Aims2Cure, a Charity who fund research into finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.

The 60km trek will be across ’s challenging , one of the country’s most actively volcanic areas.  The days will be long, covering difficult terrain, steep climbs and descents, as well as walking across snowfields.  We will be sleeping under canvas each night after having to put up our own tents! 

To tell you a little bit more about Aims2Cure – they are a registered charity, established in 1999 who finance research into finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis at The Institute of Neurology and The Institute of Cell and Molecular Science, both in .

In 2007 Aims2Cure set up The Michele Elster Foundation to help fund MS sufferers directly with their everyday lives.  The late Michele Elster was an MS sufferer who tragically lost her life to the disease in 2006.   To date, Aims2Cure have raised over £650k to try and  eradicate one of the most common neurological diseases amongst young adults, currently affecting around 85,000 people in the .
