Travel has always been one of life's passions. Seeing other parts of the world & other cultures/people fill me with hope, excitement and ambition.
Africa is the only continent I've yet to visit, so getting the chance to visit Tanzania is amazing - though getting up at 1am for a 12hr hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro in minus degree temperatures might be a different story.
I have been so extremely privileged in my life, so I think it only fair to give back to people that haven't and may not have the same chances in life that I've had. A very dear friend of mine, through incredible circumstances contracted HIV and died in January 2005. I have seen first hand what amazing work the George House Trust does in Manchester & throughout the North West of England.
Please help me, so they can help so many people, from all walks of life, affected by HIV.
I have set myself a personal target of £10,000 to raise before June 2006, but as the one organising the trip, I need to make sure our group raises its minimum target of over £32,000, so please dig deep and sponsor me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: George House Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Your generous donation will be greatly appreciated by myself and everyone who benefits from the George House Trust (www.ght.org.uk)
