My dear family and friends, Assalamu Alaykum! 

I am raising funds for Madina Institute and Masjid. Those of you who know me know I have been a teacher and a volunteer for Madina institute for many years so this is very close to my heart. We have finally managed to get a building and we are so excited to have a base for all our projects inshaAllah!  But we need your support. We need funds for refurbishment so we can open in November inshaAllah! £2000 in my personal pledge and aim and I hope you will support me!

The building will also provide a base for all Planet Mercy projects in the North West ( all your generous donations from Ramadan are already being spent on these bit we will be able to do MORE once the building is open )

THIS IS GREAT NEWS FOR OLDHAM AND THE NORTHWEST! 

The facility will serve as a hub for the community, containing a prayer room, youth zone and space for events and classes.

The offerings will be an amalgamation of ALL of our projects, delivering key services such as:

- Food Bank Service.

- Food Kitchen for the Homeless, Poor, Needy and Destitute.

- Parenting Workshops.

- Youth Mentoring Initiatives.

- Homework Clubs.

- Interactive learning workshops for children.

- After school Quran Club.

- Residential and Spiritual Retreats.

- Back to Basics initiatives in Education.

- Congregational Prayer.

- Jummah with Khutbah in English.

- Accredited Islamic Courses.

- Centre for Non-Violence and Peace Studies.

- Interfaith Forums.

- Tea and Coffee Mornings.

The facility will be accessible to all members of the community and will act as a base for people to flourish and fulfil their potential in a loving and compassionate environment as well as a safe haven for our youth and a shelter of support for the poor and needy.

As many of you know, our Projects have been running nationally for well over a decade and we have seen overwhelming generosity from the community and beyond since our inception. It is this generosity which has allowed us to flourish and actually make a positive difference to people from all segments of the community. We hope you will continue to show us your support.

We have set ourselves a target of opening our doors to the community within the next 2 months, and as such, urgently seek your DUAS and FINANCIAL SUPPORT to carry out the essential work needed in order to become fully operational.
