Hi I’m Tara, I’m 18 and would consider my self a feminist. From 12 I’ve had my period and never suffered and always was able to go to school even when on. But there’s girl out there who are not able to afford what is considered a necessity to most girls. Feminine hygiene products. Us girls can’t help our periods, so why should young girls stuffer and miss education because they can’t access pads, tampons and any other feminine hygiene products? I made the decision last week that I will stop shaving my legs, which I always take being able to do for granted and donate all proceeds I have to period poverty because this has got to end!
