Story
As many of you know (as I don't stop boring people about it) I am endeavouring to run the 2023 London Marathon this year for my brother Sean. I'm a very slow, very novice runner but I really wanted to do something to celebrate my brave brother smashing oesophagus cancer last year. His relentless positivity and astounding attitude to getting through this horrible time amazed me and when we heard after his horrific surgery, challenging chemo rounds and bouts off radiotherapy that he seemed to be well I wanted to do something to say thank you in some way and too how Sean just how inspiring he is.
Sadly Sean has just been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and we are all reeling from the news. He is trying very hard to fight again and all the amazing people that love and support him are wishing and willing him on! Come on my beautiful brother... you can do this!
This makes running even more meaningful for me and although there is no chance of me achieving a decent time I just want to get round and in some way support any other sufferers and families going through this horrible disease. So please... if you could give as much as you can I would be so very grateful!
