Hi everyone,

On the 19th of May I’m planning to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK. While I usually remain within the 5km mark, the half marathon is definitely going to bring on a new set of challenges, especially during my final months at university when I’d probably rather be out drinking (or in for that matter!). But as we all know, the past year has been particularly tough, especially for those living on their own. I want to run for Alzheimer’s Research not only to show some love and support for those facing the personal challenge of dementia every day but also for the people on the side-lines, the family and friends, the key workers, and everyone else who helps them face this challenge in the best way they can.
