Story
I am very glad to be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 10 October for the excellent charity, Right to Play. I hope that after reading about their work below (you can also visit their website at: http://www.righttoplay.com/International/Pages/Home.aspx ) you might again be fantastic in adding value to one of my long runs.
- They work in 21 countries affected by war, poverty and disease to bring sport and play to children in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America.
- They train local coaches and work with local community organisations to create a safe space for children to be involved in sport and play so to make a long lasting impact on their life skills, physical and mental health and future opportunities.
- Their programs target the most marginalized individuals including girls, persons with disabilities, children affected by HIV and AIDS, street children, former child combatants and refugees.
If you could support my 13 mile run for Right to Play by making a valued donation of any size, it would very much be appreciated.

(Each £25 donated means Right to Play can work with one more child twice a week for an entire year.)
(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity)
