Story

Under the banner 'Solidarity Football Match', the UK Ukrainian Sports Supporters Club (UKUSSC), along with both Edinburgh & Glasgow Ukrainian Communities, have team up with the Tartan Army Select FC, to show to world that although the World Cup play-off match may have been postponed, Scotland v Ukraine will still take place on 24th March, in Glasgow, one way or another.

As the world is fully aware, Ukraine and its people have been left devastated by Russia's invasion & subsequent war, with over 2 million refugees & more than 1,000 civilian casualties since the conflict began on February 24th, a number which unfortunately is still rising.

It is for this reason that the UKUSSC & TA Select FC have joined forces in organising a charity football match to try to raise as much money as possible for Ukraine (specifically Dnipro Kids), using the power of sport to unite,

A joint decision between TA Select FC & Ukraine Fans was made to raise funds for Dnipro Kids because of its Scottish/Ukrainian links. For more information about their fantastic work, please check out their website.
