We're taking on the ultimate challenge and trekking to Everest Base Camp in summer 2020.

Story

I'm fulfilling a bucket list dream of mine by taking on the ultimate challenge, climbing the highest mountain in the world to support and shine a light on the most vulnerable in this country. All the money raised goes to “The Children’s Society” Charity to help children like Huda, who was sexually assaulted when she was 15 years old, facing honour-based abuse at home afterwards, which led to her frequently going missing and subsequently falling victim to child criminal exploitation, when she became involved in county lines activity, after being made to pack and carry drugs to trap houses by her abusers in return for places to sleep, food and water. Huda was unaware that she was being exploited when she was referred to a worker from The Childrens Society, who supported her to break free from the cycle of exploitation. Huda is now living back at home and hopes to use her experiences to raise awareness of the reality of county lines. Supporting my Everest challenge, to create a country where children are free from disadvantage would mean the world to me and will help make a difference in these young people’s lives.
