After decades of disability my mum started new symptoms where we thought she had a stroke. 2 odd years down the line and further symptoms, loss of voice (the one thing she could rely on), weakness of limbs etc and there it was an MND diagnosis. 

A recent 3 week spell in hospital with a couple of close calls my sister decided to do the GSR to raise awareness.

Now for anyone that knows me and my sister you may well be shocked to hear we decided to do it together....don’t laugh. Mum laughed. In fact mum smiled and laughed so hard for the first time in ages it has made me more determined this will work.

The staff at Dorset County Hospital were amazing with my mum, thank you.
