Summer 2021, I will be volunteering with Warwick in Africa as an English teacher to the local community of Mtwara, Tanzania.  Warwick in Africa delivers high quality and high impact Maths and English education to help leaners in some of the most disadvantaged areas escape poverty. Your donations will help train teachers and equip them with improved teaching skills, resources and subject knowledge to support a long-term transformation of their classroom experience. 

Each and every one of us has experienced what it truly means to have a good teacher. We have all been inspired, encouraged and empowered to become the best version of ourselves. With this experience, I would like to have the same impact on others. I will be teaching an average class size of 50 students, four hours a day, five days a week.

What your donations can buy...

£10 will teach one child for a whole month through Warwick in Africa. 

£150 could pay for a school resources grant to but whatever will a make a real difference in that school. It could be anything from a new chalkboard, sports equipment or a carpenter to fix wobbly tables.
