Story
They come from the land of Abyssinia, the land of the first Hijra, the land that welcomed the companions of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) when they fled Makkah.
They come from the land of Al-Nagashi. The king of Abyssinia provided protection to the first Muhajireen, the sons & daughters of the companions Bilal ibn Rabah and Sumayya bin Khattab.
They come from the land of Eritrea which is located in East Africa by the Red Sea.
Over 2 million Eritreans have become refugees since 1967 when the war between Eritrea & Ethiopia for independence began, almost half of them still living in inhumane conditions in East Sudan, Djibouti, Yemen and neighbouring countries.
Thousand of widows, orphans, elderly and sick people lack the simplest necessity of life such as clean water, basic food, medicine and education.

For 50 years the international community neglected them due to other conflicts in the region and political reasons.
Today they need our help, our protection, our support.
