Story

Mandy, Marie Sine, Naomi and Katie, 4 cousins from Uig on the Isle of Lewis, are taking part in the Women V Cancer RIDE THE NIGHT EDINBURGH event on 29 June 2019, cycling 100km (62.1 miles) through Edinburgh at night to raise funds to beat women’s cancers. Funds raised will go to Breast Cancer Care, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.

Sadly our family has first-hand experience of how cancer can affect lives, so we really value the work these charities do which is why we have decided to take part in this epic challenge (...which Mandy thought would be FUN!)

We would love to raise as much money as possible and these pennies will definitely help us get our butts into gear...  eep!

Tina and Mandy are also holding a Soup and Cake fundraiser in Uig Community Centre on Sat 30th March, so please pop in if you can make it.

Please check out the different charities we are supporting as well and follow them on social media because they are super kick ass!

We will post some updates over the coming weeks and months, so keep an eye on this page and on facebook for more info.
