Story
My journey with Crossroads spans almost 20 years and many roles. I've evolved from camper to counselor, from lifeguard to waterfront director, from program alumna to year-round staff member and now I'm honored to still volunteer with the organization.
This year will mark my 3rd Rodman Ride and the first time I'm jumping from biking 25 miles to 50! The decision to boost my goal was simple - this year I'm riding in honor of my own hometown hero, Don Rodman, who passed away last summer after his own lifelong ride of 88 years. Don was a man who always reached back as he climbed forward and achieved success. Since 1991, the Rodman Ride for Kids has raised over $143 million to support youth in MA. Don's spirit of generosity continues to live on and I'm working hard to ride in his memory and in support of Crossroads.
Crossroads empowers youth to unlock their potential and positively impact the world. This mission is deeply rooted in the summer camp experience as well as year-round programming. With summer camp canceled this year due to COVID-19, I know that the team needs us to rally now more than ever. Join me in supporting an amazing organization that helped to shape me and continues to invest in our next generation of leaders.
Thank you for tuning in!
