Story

Richard's story:

I have accepted the challenge of running in this year’s London Marathon in honour of my late father, Gordon Allan, who battled against prostate cancer over many years, finally succumbing to this horrible disease in July 2015. He was with us for longer than first expected because of the effectiveness of a pioneering prostate cancer drug. The work of Prostate Cancer Research focuses on finding new treatments and, hopefully, a cure for this disease one day. I am of sufficient vintage that the risk of prostate cancer is now a reality!

Tatty's story:

I am delighted to run alongside Richard, a good colleague and also support a cause close to my heart. Having lost a close family member to cancer 6 years ago I hope that the money raised will bring the world a step further to curing this disease.
