In April I will be taking part in a 10 day trek at altitude covering approximately 117km (72miles) climbing up to 5364m to Everest Base Camp.  I will walk up to 9 hours per day with temperatures as low as -15ºC at altitudes above 4000m.  A real challenge for a truly worthwhile cause supporting Sight for life, a charity dedicated to improving the sight of the poor and needy.
