Hidradenitis Suppurativa or “HS”
is an auto-immune condition that affects 1% of the population.

Long story short it is when your
immune system fights your body & causes abscesses / boils in VERY uncomfortable
places.

It is something I have suffered from and is close to my heart because it is quite a “small” fish in the world of illness we have today, but its effects can be drastic.

For me its hard because I miss a few weeks at the gym due to regular flare ups and hours in A&E, and surgery to remove abscesses. For others its inability to sleep, shower, get dressed, sit down and a lot of other every day tasks that we take for granted.

There is no cure, and no-one really knows what causes it. Its not genetic, and people grow in and out of it.

I’m asking for your support for this chartity to help fund research, and more importantly support those who suffer most from this pesky condition.

I will be donating £1 per KG I lift over my current Total PB of 660kg. For example, if I total 700kg, I will donate £40.
