Taylor and Ethan got into mountain climbing together by chance. It was a cancelled trip to France that Taylor was due to go on when plans had to be changed. He visited Scotland with Maddie (his girlfriend) and managed to climb halfway up Ben Nevis. The deep snow unfortunately scuppered their attempt. Returning a month later with Ethan they successfully summited the Ben despite -15C wind chill and professional climbers telling them to turn back having failed their own attempt. Since that first climb they have both had a thirst for climbing. Kilimanjaro will be the first big mountain on our list but won't be the last. We have decided to fund the trip ourselves and fundraise separately so every penny you donate will go to the Ripple Pond.
