Story
Less than a week to go!
On 19th July 2025, me and Owen have challenged ourselves to take on the Cotswolds Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.
Now, this may not seem like a huge challenge to some, but for anyone that knows the difficulties I've had over the last decade, getting through this will be two- fold: raising money for a fantastic cause, whilst also proving to myself that despite bowel disabilities, I can walk 26 miles, and whatever issues I have along the way, I can overcome them to pass the finish line.
I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge (collectively we're aiming for £500), meaning we'll each help to fund a Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
Cancer has touched all of us, in one way or another - and it means a great deal to undertake our first Mighty Hike for this cause.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK - it's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without your kind donations.
Thank you!
