This 26.2 is like nothing we have experienced. We will enter the Lake District with a surreal crossing of the quicksands of Morecambe Bay, before plunging north through mountainous country on a rollercoaster running route that brings us to the foot of England’s most famous Lake. A shore-to-shore crossing of Windermere at its narrowest point will set the stage for what is yet to come: Proceeding higher into the hills and forests of the area and immersing ourselves into the Lake itself, tackling short wades, swims, slides, jumps and an amazingly bold floating assault course. A 'Vertical Kilometre' will push those quads to breaking point and help to rack up a whopping 3000ft of ascent before we psych ourselves up for a “Swallows and Amazons” rope swing suspended from a crane chucking us into the water. After clocking up those miles we’re going to be looking forward to a lie down and a pint of Beer, sitting back and relaxing as we  hurtle across the finish line on a giant water slide!!!
