Raising money for those in need during Ramadan 2020 · 4 May 2020
This Ramadan, despite the pandemic, Islamic Relief are still working around the world, making sure your donations get to those who need them most. They are on the front lines in over 30 countries, just like they have been with every major disaster since 1984, delivering food, water and emergency relief to those in desperate need. Last year they managed to support over 900,000 people around the world!
Islamic Relief makes sure that the food parcels they deliver around the world are tailored to local cuisines and diets.
Please dont wait, people need your help more than ever.
The Prophet (SAW) said:
“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi)

SubhanAllah many of us have lost loved ones over the recent pandemic + have been struggling with the effects. As we continue to be amongst isolation, we pray + hope it only gets better.
Millions of people around the world as well as us are also effected. Families are being pushed into poverty and with the lack of medical equipment + food shortages, their situation only worsens.
So, I’ve decided to join forces with Islamic Relief to help keep our vulnerable brothers + sisters around the world safe during the blessed month of Ramadan. I have in the past worked with Islamic Relief which is another reason why I felt a sense of responsibility to support the cause! Inshallah you can help me too.

Prophet Muhammad SAW also said:
“ The believers shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity” (Tirmidhi)
Subhanallah! How amazing is it that we will have protection because we have contributed to the lives of those who are calling us, desperate for help + longing for our warmth.
As Muslims, when our brothers + sisters are suffering around the world, we feel it. Although some of us have roofs over our heads, food on the table + and an atmosphere filled with warmth these selfless humans only wish to have an ounce of it. Reflecting upon this I remembered what our prophet Muhammad said. He said: “You will not believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself.” Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 13, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 45
I pray you can help me reach my target + we can make a difference.
