Sailing across the Bay of Biscay · 3 June 2015

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust inspires young people aged 8-24 to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer. For many young people simply picking up where they left off before their diagnosis just isn’t possible. So, when treatment ends the Trust’s work begins.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This is our first experience sailing such a long crossing, hundreds of miles from land. We've learnt many new skills and have worked hard to get ourselves and the boat ready for the starting line. We will work alternate 3 hour watches over 5 days and nights. We want to support the Ellen McArthur Cancer Trust to enable young people aged 8-24 years, through sailing, to regain their confidence whilst recovering from life-threatening illnesses.

Donating through JustGiving is simple and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
