THE BIG ONE 2015 · 20 June 2015

Zoe's Place is a home from home for babies/infants who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. Zoe's Place offers palliative, specialist respite, and end of life care for infants from birth to five years old. We receive very little funding and therefore rely on donations/fundraising.

Story

We are a group of like minded individuals who work together directly or indirectly for Sabic on Teesside. We have a love for cycling and challenges, whilst we also endeavour to give something back to our community by participating in fundraising events to help local charities - this time we are trying to raise some much needed funds for Zoë's Place

On Saturday 20th June 2015, our team of cyclists Yvonne Storey, Jo Waterton, Brian Allison, Tony Armstrong, Steve Barston, Mike Bates, Neil Donaghy, Rob Donaghy, Scott Donaghy, Kevin Gatherar, Jon Hetherington, Colin Morgan, Keiron Mulholland, Tim Myers, Chris Norman, Barrie Odgers, Richard Hughes, Daren Smith, Steve McNiff, Neil Stobbart, Steve Belbin and Ian Taylor plus Support Team of Kathryn Edmondson, David Gardner, Richard Carter, Geoff Chappell, Peter Robinson, Ian Jackson and John Gibson will attempt to cycle 150 miles from Seascale on the west coast to Saltburn on the east coast of England in 1 day. Our route will take on 3 of  Britain's toughest climbs in Hardknott Pass, Wrynose Pass and The Buttertubs plus whatever other challenges are thrown at us along the way!!!
