Thank you for considering sponsoring me on this 50-mile Lake District ultramarathon challenge. With a total of 4000m of ascent, crossing mountains and rivers, I will be a long way outside of my comfort zone. Starting at 8:00am on Saturday 8th October, I would love to be finished before midnight, although the official cut-off is 8:00am on Sunday morning. However, this is much further and tougher than anything I've done before, so if I manage to complete it I'll be very pleased.

Every penny raised will go towards sports equipment at the new school site with the ultimate aim of delivering an artificial grass pitch, which will benefit our students and the wider community for decades to come. Any contribution you make will be very much appreciated.
