The Descent at Battersea · 3 November 2012 to 4 November 2012 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

We're taking on our fear of heights and non-renewable energy.

For, whilst not necessarily codified in any operating document, to work at TBWA\London requires a certain mindset. On a daily basis, one has to be prepared to grapple with the philosophy of disruption, taking percieved wisdom and turning it on its head.

It's for that reason that we decided to abseil down an ageing Battersea Power Station for the Stroke Association. An organisation with aims close to our hearts, we felt it was only appropriate to do something a little bit different and raise some money for an excellent charity along the way.

So please, do consider giving whatever you can - any donation of any size is most welcome.

Thank you,
