Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page :-)  Several people in our community have been affected by cancer and this is why Maggie's was chosen as Thrupp Canal and Cruising Club's (TCCC) charity of the year.  

It all started at the TCCC's work party over a curry and a piece of cake, thinking we need to work this off...having decided that a marathon wasn't enough of a challenge for Kerry, Mark highjacked Rebecca and Sara's holiday, which we all agreed was a fantastic idea, to cycle over the roof of England from St Bee's to Tynemouth.  This is known as the C2C and is 140 miles long (bit more with St Bee's) with plenty of 500m mole hills...

Our not so small group of 11 is a mixed bag of abilities, ages and temperaments.  Since December, we've all been practising eating as much pizza and cake as we can and fitting in some rides in between.

We are Sara, Mark, Karen, Becks, Rich, Kerry, Phil, Val, Bernie, Anna and Marky!  Thanks for your support (We'll thank you in person if we survive...)
