The Education Emergency is Pakistan’s most pressing man-made disaster – 1 in 3 children will never see the inside of a school, leaving the country second in the global ranking of out-of-school children.

TCF provides a quality education where the need is greatest; all 830 TCF schools are located in urban slums and rural areas.  We educate 115,000 of the most disadvantaged children of whom 80% are Zakah eligible.  Funds donated as Zakah are only used for educational purposes such as textbooks and uniforms for the most needy.

Our schools make a demonstrable difference; 98% of our most recent graduates passed matriculation, we have achieved a near 50% female enrolment rate and already 200 female students have returned to TCF as teachers.

We were so encouraged by the generosity of our UK donors last Ramadan and we now hope to raise £100,000 this year to reach almost 1,400 children.
