Story

Hi and Thank You for visiting my page! I'm Greg and I’ve signed up to take on the 2023 London Marathon and I’ll be raising funds to support the Royal British Legion. While I am a regular runner this will be my first marathon so it will be a big physical and mental challenge for me. I started my marathon journey last year as a way of honouring my Dad a life long service man who had unfortunately developed dementia. Having completed all my training, my Dad passed away 10 days before last year's marathon so I was not able to take part. I am now completing my journey by taking part in this year's Marathon in memory of him and raising money for a charity that meant a lot to him.

The Royal British Legion provide much needed help and support. Their Poppy Appeal was founded to help those in need following a national crisis. Right now they are helping those who are isolated from family, facing homelessness, struggling to feed their children and are in financial crisis. They are working tirelessly to ensure that those who have served are being looked after no matter what challenges they, and the country faces. Your donation will mean they can continue to provide the life-changing support that our Armed Forces community needs and deserves. Thank You.
