Ive been inspired by the atmosphere at the London marathon as a spectator so took the plunge and applied to run it myself in April! 

It’s a massive challenge for me but I felt it was important to take on a challenge that was both daunting and terrifying to reflect the enormity and impact the disease has on those it touches. 

Having lost my father to Altzheimers in 2016 and knowing friends and families who have gone through the same, the devastation and ripple effect is indescribable. I have learned of the support given by the Altzheimers Society in dealing with another family member’s recent dementia diagnosis and wish to support them in their work.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.Thank you for choosing Alzheimer's Society, together we can give help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
