100 mile sponsored bike ride - between Tuesday 28th and Thursday 30th July 2009 I will cycle a circular route around Cheshire passing places such as Kidsgrove, Nantwich, Chester, Warrington, Manchester, Marple, Macclesfield and Congleton. Hello everyone,

Due to today's bad weather forecast and the impracticalities of carrying a tent, I have revised my journey plan. Yesterday I cycled nearly 50 miles through Central, North and South Cheshire and will do the other half of the route later in the week, travelling to Congleton, Macclesfield and over into Derbyshire and the Peak District.

Monday 3rd August

After being delayed for days by the bad weather, yesterday I finally managed to get out and complete the other part of my sponsored bike ride. I was offered a lift to Shropshire so I decided to complete the rest of my miles in that area. Starting in Ellesmere I cycled along the Shropshire Union Canal over into Wales and then back into England near Whitchurch. From there I went back to Alsager passing Wrenbury and Audlem.
