Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! I am running a Charity Subathon gaming stream on Twitch on April 4th 2022. We'll be raising money for animals in need for my local branch, the RSPCA Warrington, Halton and St Helens. This branch holds a place in my heart after completing a year placement here caring for animals in need.

You can watch the stream on Twitch via the link https://www.twitch.tv/Teal_Mermaid or just search Teal_Mermaid to join in the with the stream.

Uncapped subathon to take place:

4th April 2022 10:00AM GMT!

Throughout the stream we’ll be playing games, chatting and doing giveaways! There will also be sub challenges for every sub goal reached.

Games we’ll be playing:

  • Call of Duty: Warzone
  • Detroit Become Human
  • Overcooked 2: All You Can Eat
  • GeoGuessr
  • Little Nightmares
  • Animal Crossing
  • Pokémon Legends Arceus
How Subathons work:
Every subscription, bit donation, raid, follow, host and donation adds time onto the clock:
  • 2 seconds - per bit cheer
  • 2.5 minutes - per donation (x donation aMount)
  • 5 minutes - per follow
  • 5 minutes - per host
  • 5 minutes - per raid
  • 10 minutes - per tier 1 sub
  • 15 minutes - per tier 2 sub
  • 20 minutes - per tier 3 sub
This is uncapped meaning it could go on for weeks! All funds raised direct through twitch will be fully donated to the branch after pay-out <3

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the branch
I'm joining the challenge to fundraise for my local RSPCA branch, where they take care of cats and dogs that have been rescued! They look after any conditions and help to retrain cats and dogs for new homes, as well as giving them all the cuddles they've missed out on

This local branch is funded differently to the National RSPCA charity so every penny goes directly to making a big impact for a small hard working rescue shelter. They look after cats and dogs that the National RSPCA bring to them. They work really hard to make them feel better, usually keeping them in care for months! After making them better and training them how to behave in a home, they get to see them go to happy forever homes! £5 could pay for two toys to have lots of fun while they get better £10 could pay for medicated shampoo to soothe itchy skin conditions £30 could pay for a cat or dog to be looked after for a whole day. They have separate funds to the National RSPCA which is why I’m fundraising for them - I know my money is going straight to that shelter!

About the charity

We rehabilitate and care for abused and neglected cats and dogs. All our animals are brought to us by national RSPCA inspectors after being rescued from cruelty. We serve Warrington, Halton, St Helens and the surrounding areas (including Lymm, Frodsham, Helsby, Prescot, Knowsley and Rainford).
