Team AANI Go Off to Lift Off · 29 December 2020

This January, we are asking people to join our Go Off to Lift Off challenge in order to support Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.

Story

The staff at Air Ambulance NI want to lead the way and take part in their New Year campaign by GOING OFF something they are a little too fond of to help our helicopter TAKE OFF another day! We will keep you updated on how we are getting on throughout the month!

Air Ambulance NI staff members participating so far are......

Damien (AANI fundraising manager in Tyrone/Fermanagh) and Charlotte (AANI marketing executive) are both going off chocolate for a month.

Kerry (AANI Head of Fundraising) and Colleen (AANI fundraising manager in Armagh/ Down) are ditching the exercise excuses and doing a personal fitness challenge each day!

Your donations will ensure the HEMS medical service team can continue to save many lives, brains and limbs all over Northern Ireland. The charity Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the province. It is operational 365 days of the year, 7am-7pm and can get to any point in Northern Ireland within twenty-five minutes. With an annual operational cost of £2 million, public donations are crucial. Since it's inception in July 2017, the HEMS team have responded to 1881 takings, an average of nearly 2 calls every day across NI. The team simply couldn't fly without your support so THANK YOU!
