Sara Laverton is raising money for Breakthrough T1D
Story
Three generations are taking on the JDRF one fun run this September to help raise funds towards researching a cure for type 1 diabetes.
As most people are aware Alexis was diagnosed with t1d at four years old and bravely faces the challenges of such a horrible condition on a daily basis. Finger pricks, cannula changes and cgm insertions are everyday occurrences to her and at six years old she deals with it all amazingly. However a cure is what we all want so together we will try and get as much sponsor ship as possible!
