Story
For the third year in a row, we will be raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. In September this year, we will be taking on the Thames Path Challenge, a continuous 100km walk from Putney Bridge to Henley-on-Thames, which can take between 24-34 hours. This year we hope to raise even more for the MND Association to support the fantastic work they do and bring us closer to a cure for MND.
Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones in the brain and spinal cord meaning that messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. Gradually the disease will leave the person unable to move, talk and eventually breathe.
The disease affects around 5,000 people in the UK and there is currently no cure. Please, donate what you can, all donations help bring us closer to a world free from MND
