On Sunday 15th July, C&C Alpha Group staff will run to support In Deep Charity.

We have decided to run the Westminster British 10K as a team for In Deep Charity to both challenge ourselves and raise some money for a charity local to us and close to our hearts.

In-Deep is a registered charity that works mainly with elderly people
and children with special needs in South Westminster and Lambeth, London. They help tackle isolation by offering friendship and a range of activities and services to people living in the area, as many have no family, or family that live far away on low incomes.

The money raised will help older people get their nails cut regularly, meet others instead of sitting indoors and allow children with disabilities to experience the joy of music.

The charity is run by a group of trustees and its activities are run
solely by volunteers, including students, people from the local area and
volunteers with disability. Among the activities they run throughout the year are: Children’s music therapy, Christmas hampers, a complementary therapies scheme, a monthly community dinner and an
over 50’s senior choir.
