The members of 'Team Dunedin' are going to test their strength, stamina and fitness by partaking in one of the toughest one day challenges in Scotland - The Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon on Saturday 14th July 2012. http://www.artemisgreatkindrochit.com/the-challenge/

What the challenge entails:

• Swim - 1.35k (0.8 miles) to North side of Loch Tay
• Run/Walk - seven Munros encompassing the Lawers and Ptarmigan Ridges to Morenish (approx 24k or 15 miles)
• Kayak - 11k (7 miles) back to Ardtalnaig
• Cycle - around Loch Tay 54k (34 miles)

The Artemis Charitable Foundation, the sponsor of the event, has nominated two charities to benefit from the 2012 Quadrathlon: Mercy Corps, an international development charity working in over 40 countries worldwide helping people to turn the crises of natural disaster, poverty and conflict into opportunities for progress. Mary's Meals, an international movement to set up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.

To help Dunedin Capital Partners hit their fundraising target each Dunedin participant pledges to raise a minimum of £450.  The Artemis Charitable Foundation (registered Charity Number SC037857) administers all Quadrathlon fundraising and allocates the total funds raised to the event charities.
