Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Hi :) We hope you CAN SUPPORT and DONATE to this worthwhile cause, Brain Tumour Research.

In memory of Phil Blackmore, our friend Phil lived life to the full and did more in 31 years than many people do in a lifetime. Phil was an accomplished sportsman. He walked the Greenfingers Charity walk last year with us. He ran Manchester Marathon; he completed the Etape du Tour in July 2015, had a golf handicap of 18 and was a regular 5-a-side footballer. He completed the London Triathlon three times.

In April 2016 Phil started to experience occasional seizures and at the start of August was diagnosed with a low-grade glioma. He died suddenly on 31st December as a result of the tumour.

Phil was a beloved as well as a highly valued friend to many. He will be sorely, sorely missed. Therefore, we are also fundraising money to the Brain Tumour Research, which funds long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours.

Please support us and DONATE!

Thanks,

Team Glee :)
