Story
Welcome! Let me tell you a little bit about myself...
My name is Heart, British Heart! I am very small, normally around the size of your fist, but I work very hard, day in and day out, even when you are sleeping. I beat around 115,000 times each day and each minute I pump 1.5 gallons of blood. Sometimes I even make you fall in Love. No rest for the wicked!
Having said that, sometimes I get very tired and that’s when I need your help. Because I am very complicated not everyone knows how to help me get the rest I need so I can spring back to action, therefore I have asked my very good friends, the Leicester Square Pedalers, to cycle 54 miles all the way to Brighton and raise some money, so that the smart people at British Heart Foundation can do the research they need to be able to help me when I feel worn out.
Hi, we are the Leicester Square Pedalers and we are here to help save our hearts. Our team is made up of brilliant people: Kusum, Alex, Simon, Michael, Rian, Jonathan, Trevor, Nathan, Reuben and KK.
At some point we all worked at Leicester Square tube station, hence the name. Some of us are still there and some have moved to different stations, yet our goal has stayed the same -'To save our Hearts'. We are all getting together on 21st of June 2020 as we have been doing for the last 3 years and will cycle from London to Brighton to raise money to contribute towards all of the research that is being done by British Heart Foundation.
We kindly request for your support towards our goal in form of donations!
Thanks!!!
