20% of adolescents may experience a mental health problem in any year.

My problems began when I was just thirteen years old. On the 4th of August me and a few staff members from Care In Mind will be running the 10k to raise money for the great work that Mind do. Mental health problems are more common than you think; affecting approximately 1 in 4 individuals every day in the UK. Raising money for a mental health charity means a lot to me because I am one of those individuals that are affected. I want to prove to people that those effected by mental illness can fight and band together to show that we care and are here for each other. Kindness is the flower of humanity and I am here to see myself bloom and help others to see that they can do it too.
