Story

We are fundraising for the One Nations Prosthetic Artificial Limbs Clinic in Syria (P.A.L.S) which offers hope for a meaningful life for those who have lost limbs due to the ongoing war.

It helps return these individuals to a life of ability, independence and productivity. The prosthetics centre is providing of high quality that match international standards. On average, the PALS centre treats around a hundred patients a month.PALS centre is a place of hope for these oppressed patients.

Patients like 5 year old Naseem, who lost both of her legs during a bombing in her hometown of Aleppo in 2016.A few years later, our staff found her in a refugee camp and fitted her with two prosthetics. Creating the perfect fit for prosthetic limbs, is a lengthy process. It requires numerous appointments to fit, tweak, and test the new limbs over a six-week period. To fit a limb it will cost £1,000, this includes assessments, fitting and rehabilitation.

Last Ramadan, we helped over 20 patients will prosthetic limbs. Make that difference today and help change lives and give hope to these innocent children.
