Event: St Wilfrid's Moonlight Walk Week 2021, from 4 September 2021 to 11 September 2021
In memory of Simon Ostrom
St Wilfrid's Moonlight Walk Week returns! This year our official Moonlight Walk Week will be between Saturday 4th and Saturday 11th September 2021 with two special ways to take part on a sponsored 5 or 10-mile walk to remember.

Story

On Saturday 4 September Team Ostrom (Jan, Sarah, Jo, Darren, Leo, Phoebe, Robyn, Andy, Nicola and me… and our various four legged friends) are walking 10 miles for St Wilfrid's Hospice near Chichester as part of the Moonlight Walk Week 2021.

As some of you may know, our husband, brother, dad, gramps and friend, Simon (the Old Boy, Daddio, Popsicle…), died in July this year, after battling an aggressive cancer for almost a year.  It is still very recent and raw, but taking part in the walk for St Wilfred’s, where he spent his last few days, seems like the perfect way to express our gratitude to the wonderful care team at the hospice and do what we can to support their future work.  It will also be a good opportunity to share stories about Pops, the scrapes he got into (and always got out of), his inappropriate jokes, golfing prowess and endless new toys, and those little moments of quiet kindness, humour and advice.

If you think you would like to sponsor us we would be very grateful - it really means a lot!

Love, Team Ostrom x
